After 24 years as director of Christian Challenge at Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kan., I still love what I do. I still get excited to see God working in students’ lives. I still enjoy the planning and anticipation of the fall semester and the new students who will be coming.

I still love teaching, training and watching students come alive as they make faith their own. And I still get overwhelmed with joy when a student finds new life in Christ!

This has been another good year for us. We have a great young staff and I enjoy watching them learn and grow in ministry. I love their hearts and devotion and the way they pour their lives into students’ lives.

In January we were able to celebrate with Kellan and Taylor Ziegelmeier as they moved to Colby and launched a Christian Challenge at Colby Community College.

We also had a graduate move to Hutchinson and join the ministry at Hutchinson Community College.

God continues to use us not only to reach the students at FHSU and also in sending increasing numbers to the ends of the earth! What a joy to be a part of what God is doing!

We are preparing to send students out for the summer. We have a team returning to East Asia to work with our partner there and a young man going to Cypress.

Ten students will be participating in Project Impact in Lawrence and Denver. Project Impact is a summer discipleship program. Learn more at

Students also will be serving at camps and in other ministries.

Please pray with us!
