“Set Free” is the theme of the 2018 KNCSB Shine Conference for teen girls. It will be held Friday night, Nov. 2, and Saturday, Nov. 3, at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan.
Shine will help girls learn how to avoid perfectionism, comparison and materialism and rely on the Lord.
Tabitha McPheron will be the featured speaker. She grew up in First Southern Baptist Church, Ottawa, Kan., where her father, Marty, is pastor. Throughout high college and college at Kansas State University God taught her what it means to live the gospel message. After graduating from K-State, she continued sharing this message as a high school teacher in Taiwan. She is now a middle school teacher in Overland Park, Kan.
Frankie Barranco will be the worship leader. She is a Christian recording artist and is worship arts director at Flatrock Community Church in Nashville. Visit her website at https://frankiebarranco.com/
