Purpose
The purpose of the KNCSB church library program is to provide support for churches as they strive to fulfill the Great Commission.
Fay Hudnall of Olathe, Kan., is the KNCSB church library consultant. She is a member of Blue Valley Baptist Church, Overland Park, Kan.

Author Christine Schaub to Sign Books During 2008 Church Library Ministry Conference
There will be a SPECIAL FEATURE this year in the form of a book signing with Christine Schaub, author of “Finding Anna” and “The Longing Season.” In Christine’s MUSIC OF THE HEART series, she tells the powerful stories of hope behind our greatest hymns--songs born out of tragedy that now comfort millions with their poignant lyrics and plaintive melodies.

If your church has a library or is considering starting one, please make plans for your church librarian to attend the “Read, White and Blue” Church Library Ministry Conference! Librarians will receive instruction in basic and advanced library skills, the Concourse computer program, copyright laws, book selection, and much more.
Conference leaders include Eva Nell Hunter, director of the church library ministry at Central Baptist Church in Decatur, AL and association and state convention consultant; Bill Jones, developer of Book Systems’ suite of library automation products; and Hope Ferguson, state library ministry consultant for the Louisiana convention.
