God is slowly but faithfully revealing Himself to Native American families in Alliance, Neb.
Solid Rock Baptist Fellowship in Alliance is comprised mostly of Native American families from the Lakota Sioux tribe. It meets once a month.
What excites me is seeing growth in understanding who our God is and being able to explain salvation.
Chaplain Jill was the guest speaker for the January meeting. She asked, “Who is God?”
The people replied, “He is God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
Then Chaplain Jill asked, “How is a person saved?”
“By believing in Jesus Christ,” the people replied.
This may seem small, but the Lakota Sioux people still have strong ties to their Native American religion.
I give God the praise for revealing Himself to them. I also give credit to my wife, Brenda, for teaching the children in the Kids Bible Club.
The Valentine Banquet will be held Monday night, Feb. 12, in Alliance. Please pray for God to continue revealing Himself to the Lakota Sioux people there.
