On Easter Sunday 2021 Northern Heights Baptist Church, Norfolk, Neb., presented its third annual Easter pageant with more than 31 characters on stage.

Its purpose was to remember the great sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

The program was in Spanish with English subtitles and live music.

This great moment took place with more than 130 people in attendance.

“We had a lot of first-time visitors,” said David Martinez, associate pastor of Northern Heights. “Four people made professions of faith.”

Martinez said he would like to plan something on a larger scale for Easter 2022 if God allows.

He is lead ethnic church-planter strategist for the Kansas-Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists.
