Kansas-Nebraska Campers on Mission continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a variety of settings. Campers on Mission serve Jesus “As We Go.”

In mid-September the group worked at Alpha Christian Children’s Home, Perry, Kan. They worked on a new house that will be the home of the resident teacher. Later the house will be for house parents and children.

COM members completed installing the exterior siding and trim and also did interior painting. They also worked on a new bathroom in another house and put up drywall there.

After leaving Alpha Christian Children’s Home, the group worked at the Baptist Building in Topeka. Their main project was installing new windows on the north side of the building. This was a joint project with KNCSB Baptist Builders.

Kansas-Nebraska Campers on Mission then planned to work at Webster Conference Center, Salina, Kan.

In other activity, the COM Christmas party will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, at Webster Conference Center.

After the holidays several COM members will be serving at Texas Baptist Encampment, Palacios, Texas, on the Gulf Coast.

The 2023 Campers on Mission National Rally will be held June 7-9 at the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds, Hillsdale, Mich.
